I don’t know the money angle or draft eligibility left, or roster numbers. what I do know is they all improved at the end of the year.

There have been 252 picks, 5 have been first baseman. Want to guess how many are right handed bats? Feel terrible for Bear but it just is what it is.

eh, I think this is just downplaying other issues teams clearly have with Jones. It isn't just that he's a right handed first baseman.
Nolan Schanuel went 11th overall in 2023
Brock Vradenburg went in the 3rd round in 2023
Kiko Romero went in the 7thh round in 2023
Corey Collins went in the 6th round last year
Edgar Alvarez went in the 8th round last year
Those are all guys first basemen who are right handed throwers.
