I love that January wasn't drafted after playing us on his commitment.

Hitting will be fine we won't hit 320 again next year. We will have some young guys who will mature over the year. I fully expect us to have a 275 team batting avg and to also have over 100 steals again. I think we will be fine if pitching is half of what we expect it to be.

If we hit 320 next year, we probably won't lose a game

OP is fricked. Can you get rid of the projections? and separate the recruits vs. current players.

It isn't that the offense or hitting is going to be terrible next year, it's going to be inexperienced and therefore streaky, much like last year.

Stealing over 100 bases would also be a surprise because this year there were 4 or 5 guys in the lineup who both hit consistently and had the green light whenever they were on base.

ETA: The January situation didn't have anything to do with playing us either.

I noticed Brody Wofford is not listed in the OP. Is he still an LSU commit?

Sorry your thread sucks. It's not hard to do this:

Current players:
1st round pick Bregs...#2 overall
2nd round pick Stevenson...#58 overall
Etc

Future players:
4th round pick Jacob Taylor...#127 overall

Lazy somabitch. Goodnight time to pass out!

For once the draft was kind to us in regards to HS players

Laird and Chinea most likely leaving puts a damper on things though

With the crop of catchers we have coming in, why is everyone so but hurt about Ryan January?

According to his twitter he is. Still all LSU and retweeted Bregman's "this is why you go to LSU".

I know he's a 2 way player, but wasnt he recruited to pitch?

We only have 3 left handed pitchers coming back, and 2 could possibly start (Latz and Poche).

Bugg is the closer next season with stallings finding a secondary pitch to possibly get it as well. McKay will vie for Sunday spot with Latz. Bain and Godfrey will do midweek and middle relief. Reynolds will be getting a shot at setup as well I think.

That and there's whether they are a current player (with class), high school or JUCO clearly written out next to each name
