Mizzou has been killing it on sunday so we could easily drop that game.

What is the lighting situation at your stadium?

The only lighting complaint we've gotten is the Texas Tech coach 8 years ago after we beat them 25-0 on a Friday night.

Looking forward to going to an FB game in Columbia. What is the best thing to do while there?

There is a great bar scene in downtown Columbia and it bumps up right to campus, so it is a pretty easy walk from the bars to the FB stadium. A little longer walk to baseball, but still doable.

I'll be making my first trip to Columbia this weekend. Looking forward to the game and seeing the campus and city.

All general admission seating isn't it?

Hope you have a great time! It is spring break this week, so the town is a little quieter than normal. That should help you get in to any restaurants easier than normal.

Technically, all of the seats with backs are reserved, however there are only about 10 people that would care enough to kick you out of their seat. If you get there 15-20 minutes before the game you should pretty much be able to pick your seat.

There's been internet chatter on & off re possible future conference realignments. Is there any chance that , if the BIG offered, you'd pull out of the SEC? Just curious, not a flame.

I'll be there this weekend

How lax/strict are they about bringing food and/or drinks into the stadium with you?

And what about police presence while tailgating and and other rules? Not in terms of rowdiness, but do you have to keep everything in a cup? No glass? Etc.

For some reason the BIG story will not die. I feel like I speak for most Mizzou fans when I say that we are MUCH happier being in the SEC than anywhere else. I can't see any way the admins would ever pull out of the SEC, even for the BIG, especially with the SEC Network about to begin. Everyone knows this is the best place to be, hands down.

Why would anyone leave this?

"The SEC has been renegotiating its long-term rights deals with ESPN and CBS to take into consideration the conference's recent additions of Missouri and Texas A&M. When those deals began in with the 2009-10 school year, they were worth $3 billion over 15 years (with the conference having grown to 14 schools, that now works out to an annual average of $14.3 million per school)."

They are fairly lax about food and water, but I wouldn't try to bring in anything else besides water. As for tailgating, technically Mizzou is a dry campus every day but football gamedays, so I would be careful about having alcohol out in plain site. As for tailgating in general though, anything else is fair game, though you will be one of the few if any out there. I'd recommend setting up in the lot down the hill south of the stadium as there are some grassy areas there.
