My condolences, baw! Hope they can win it all for you and your dad.
My dad was a Saints fan for as long as they were a franchise. He died in October of 2009 - right before they won their one and only Super Bowl. I often think of how much that sucked for him to not get to witness that after suffering with them for so long.
Hang tough.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad when I was 7. It’s been 30 something years and it still irks me the wrong way as being totally unfair. For three decades I thought about how unfair it was to me.

And then the other day, as I laid down with my oldest (4) of two (with one more on the way), I thought to myself….”every night I lay here and don’t want to get up, I never want to stop hugging these kids, and I’m literally cherishing every moment…..would I be this way if I didn’t worry about leaving them like my dad left me?”

I’m blessed with three sons, and I love them more than you can imagine because life was unfair to me.

Everything happens for a reason. It’s very freaking cool that you got to watch his last game with him, we won, and he helped us win the best college baseball game in history.

But what a fantastic way to spend the last moments with your dad.

God bless you, friend.

Sorry for your loss.

I lost my dad a few months after LSU went 15-0 with Joe Burrow and won the Natty.
