Can't remember when LSU was so weak in centerfield Both defensively and offensively.

Defensively? You serious Clark?

I’m not a fan of Stanfield, but it’s mainly because of his demeanor and because he doesn’t smile. My 7 year old asked me if he even likes baseball.

You guys do realize that Lyn Rollins doesn't hold a patent on this phrase? Jim Hawthorne used to say the same long before Rollins came around. I'm sure Jim wasn't the first.

Not gonna put a ton of blame on him, but it was a bad bunt given the situation

It should not have been straight back at the pitcher but he did make a pretty good play there and it seemed like the runner was a bit late getting started on that one.

In that scenario, I like the bunt toward first base.

Stanfield is by far the happiest player on the team

he just is stone faced when batting

otherwise he’s a pretty high energy upbeat guy it seams

Jake brown does some dumbarse shite sometimes

Jesus Christ , it’s not on Jake Brown. That’s a squeeze play. It’s Stanfields job to get squared around and push that bunt down the line. Miserable execution by Stanfield.

Stanfield is the glaring weak spot in the lineup. Need Curial to cf, Frey to right, brown to left.
