My question would be:

Why does it seem like we are playing a "prevent" defense the whole damn game??? Why do we leave the slot receivers uncovered and expect the our safeties to pick them up? Why are our DBs ten yards off of the line of scrimmage when the fricking ball is snapped??? Bump and Run anyone???

they will not be our Co-DCs

but the fact that many dont even wanna give him a chance to fire them or at the very least demote them before they call him too stubborn or too loyal, baffles me

i double dog dare any of you to call in and ask him. you'll end up stopping in mid sentence and saying " i i i im sorry your greatness i i should have never questioned you. Gea-Geaux Tigers."
some of yall know yall wouldn't have the balls to ask the questions in the manner you are describing on this thread but some of you also have legit questions and concerns which are really good. keep them coming.

I just don't think he fires them...nor will he demote them...did you hear LM's postgame interview comments on the defense??? He obviously doesn't think the problems lye with the Co-Ds. He thinks it is just a problem with players making mental errors here and there...well, IMO, if the players are making the same mental errors in week 11, that is POOR COACHING!!!

I got word there will be a new def coord at LSU and a new def line coach

I'm not sure what becomes of Frick and Frack but I feel pretty confident now that change is on the way. I've been down on these guys from day 1 so I feel pretty releived at the moment.

you buy into what he is saying, you take his pressers for face value

there is hidden motives behind what he says, Miles isnt as dumb as you think, he knows whats going on on the field...i think you will find that out soon enough

what will you think about those words in his resser if (when) he fires them or demotes them?

Whatever dude! I won't care, as long as he does fire them...Just don't think it happens after this year. I'm not saying he needs to be throwing the Co-Ds under the bus in his pressers, nor does he need to make it obvious at this point that he is already thinking of getting rid of them. That's something Tubbs would do! I'm just saying that he AT THE VERY LEAST needs to admit that there are problems with the defense.

I am not believing everything that he says...I'm really not THAT gullable. But, he just keeps defending them and their schemes. He has NEVER admitted that there are problems with our D...that is what scares me about the whole situation

This statement pretty much sums it up for me. What happened to being critically honest with the teams assessment so you can make the necessary improvements. Everyone must feel accountable for the teams failure. Coaches as well as players.

What will you do differently this offseason and next season to avoid being a mediocre football team again next year?

Honda: Just curious - are you basing your prediction strictly off of what he's saying in interviews?

Cause there have been those posting on the board with excellent track record of providing info on these sorts of things that have indicated the DC changes will happen.

Just wondering if you have counter info or just going on Miles' public statements.

He wanted to know if it was because other teams have caught on to LSU's defensive scheme or if it was because LSU was not playing as well as they should be playing. Miles' answer was that it was a little bit of both and that his coaching staff needs to do a better job coaching.

Wow!, some acknowledgement. Maybe there is hope after all!

Peveto should not be allowed to slide back down to a position coach. Every position he has coached since he's been here that unit has digressed from the previous year.

There is a place and time to handle the coaching problems. Live on T.V. is not the place.
