Did you really expect KW to start over Scott?

Yet, after Keiland has been tearing La. Tech up and we're only up one score, we throw the ball 6 straight times on back to back 3 and outs. I just don't get it.

defenses have been known to adjust

amazing concept I know

We didn't even attempt to run the ball in any of those two possessions though. And even if Tech "adjusted," we went back to the run game after those two dreadful possessions and it was successful again. So I don't buy that BS.

because the Keiland Williams i've seen since his freshman year has done nothing but impress me every time he touches the ball
Then you haven't been really watching him.

Fair to say he's been misused?

I think he could've done more catching passes out of the backfield. He was also a common victim of the short-side option that no one enjoys (though it was his best run). He had more than his share of ho-hum, let down moments to take the shine off of his good moments.

Run Shepard consistently on dives out of the I and it would be easy to not be impressed every time he touches the ball.

I can't help but think back to the end of the '06 season when KW became the main back for the end of the season and had big efforts in tough road wins over TN and Arkansas. I really thought he was going to be the feature back from then on. No complaints with what Hester or Scott did thereafter, but I would love to see the stats for KW's worst game in which he has gotten at least 10 carries. Has he ever had a bad game when allowed a reasonable number of touches?

i think Speedy, our resident MIT grad, had put up some stats on every game that KW had 9 or more carries. i think almost every game, he had a 5.0ypc average or better.

so we ran the ball effectively

then crowton tried to throw it 6 times (albeit with an ineffective qb)

then we ran the ball effectively again

and you believe throwing it six straight times (even ineffectively) had no effect on the Tech defense?

since you are aware of what happened during this six play sequence can you tell me what Tech was doing when we ran the ball effectively before the six straight passes? what tech was doing when we threw it six straight times? what Tech was doing on defense when we ran the ball effectively again?

I saw Scott have a few not so great games. Start over, maybe not but play a more prominent roll in the running ... you damn right.

spinoza, is he thinking clearly as a $4 Mil. H.C. at LSU? I think he is thinking about his family and his life; but what about his job as a NCAA BCCS Team? Without this job, what can, which should come first, what would he be able to give and share with his family and friends?

this........

Miles saying KW has a lot of time left in his career to shine is complete and utter bullshite. He has 3 more games, that's it! Why does this man continue to speak gobbledygook?

That sounds like pure BS. Miles is hardly articulate and that trait actually enhances his ability to say nothing while opening his mouth.
I am sure that there is more to the story about KW and LM's relationship but I am sure we will never know the true story.
Oh well, the fan base and Miles only have 3 games more to shite all over Keiland.

He has a "want" now that he knows this is it. He didn't always have that. He moments of it. Then he had about the same number of moments of looking like he couldn't see a hole to save his life. Or fumbled. He looked great against La Tech. But lets get real here, that was La Tech. A brutalized La Tech.

Name me one time outside of, I believe it was the 2008 spring game, when Keiland Williams has fumbled. I dare you. He has zero fumbles at LSU.
