the only thing i can say is cus we are going to continue to run the football. So i expect JJ to get the bulk of the snaps unless we just completely falter at the beginning of the season. Also seems like him and ford have that option down perfect.
Watching the spring videos he is def our best qb when rolling out and throwing it. Hopefully they will play to our qbs strengths this year regardless of which one is in the game.

Maybe JJ will do like Patrick Campbell did his senior year at Auburn. Prior to that time , he didnt look all that impressive, then all of a sudden, he looked like world beaters.

The only thing that allows me to hope is that Krags is a better QB coach.
But are any of the SR QB's salvageable at this point?
I doubt it. . .but I felt the same way about Howard in 95.
I mean. . .he got hurt, but he was having a good year until then.

the only good games he has ever had seem to be when he has a REALLY long time to prepare.
Again, Bama.
I don't know. The guy is an enigma
And yes, the whole team looked like crap against Mcneese. So frustrating. After that huge win against UF, and I'm sure all of the JL lovers were looking for him to take over the starting job, and neither one of them looked competent.

you mean jason campbell. And yes rt when krags was hired i posted jc's jr stats and jj's. While jason had better passing stats JJ had much better rushing stats and all purpose yrds were pretty equal. of course campbell had more throwing attempts and jj had more rushing attempts.
Auburn inserts a new oc and they go undefeated. So it is def possible to see a huge turn around between jr and sr yr qbs.

said the same thing about him last year
No... He didn't. Miles was constantly saying the QB's needed to step it up, and they never did. I'm not saying JJ will turn it on, I honestly think he won't, but Miles didn't place praise on him like he is doing this year.

There might have been another factor involved there as well

When you get down to it, Miles' job is to sell tickets and bolster the LSU brand. If he didn't pump sunshine about Jefferson, he'd have to pump sunshine about somebody else.
Think about this. What would Miles have to gain by focusing all his public statements on Mett or Lee?
Expect plenty of public praise for all three of them before the season starts, but Jefferson will be the primary focus. What does this mean in regards to whom will eventually be named the starter? Absolutely nothing.

I will be glad when JJ's eligibility is up and he is out of the way of LSU football.
Dumbass. Ridiculous statement about any Tiger... pitiful.
