what do expect him to say JJ sucks and is the bane of this team. Coaching is about motivation and this is what Miles is trying to do with JJ.

Honestly, if JJ is the best at the time and has the better grasp of the offense then yes I want him to start. However, I don't want him to start because I don't wanna have to hear from idiotic fans wanting him out after he throws his first interception.

JJ might be good in practices and he might be good when he doesn't feel the pressure of the game on his shoulders.

This is the truth. Unfortunately, for the past 2 years the best option has been JJ - he does just enough to warrant playing time. He has had two or three "best games of his career," followed by weeks of inconsistency.

Exactly! Really tired of hearing LM's shite when it comes to vjj.

Dude you seem butt-hurt. Everyday you do all you can to tear down YOUR STARTING QB when the others looked worse more of the time except for a couple of moments last year. Just give it up. This is a new year. Wait JL is that you? Don't be silly Jarret Lee.

And change your picture because it ain't happening unless it's an injury to the starter(S).

there is a reason why stats aren't provided. more likely than not the same reason j.j. and j.l. stats started being combined in fall camp.

I will be glad when JJ's eligibility is up and he is out of the way of LSU football.

+a gazillion

Hopefully he doesn't pass along the compromising pictures he has of LM to some other substandard player...

something the morons and conspiracy theorists on this board will never learn to accept. Miles fully understands that the well being of himself and his family rest fully on the performance of the LSU football program. only a fool would believe that he would play someone he thought was not the best option for success on the field. it's too early to know who will profit the most from Krag's presence and expertise....but there is no reason to belive that JJ, with three yrs of SEC experience and coming off a very solid cotton bowl win, can't be the one.

The good thing is that he is under different tutelage, so if CGC was the problem, maybe he can be fixed by our new QB coach / OC. Would you be upset if JJ started and had great stats this yr and was one of the top 3 QB's in the SEC, just because you want Met to start? I hope JJ wins the Heisman, it is not likely but who knows.

This is sort of related tot he OP but sort of not, but I have always wondered if GC was actually calling the plays in the Cotton Bowl. I'm pretty sure CLM had already made up his mind to make the change, so I was kind of thinking that he might have been directing the offense, hence why JJ didn't look like the scared puppy he usually was most of the time. Could have been just the fluke "planets are in alignment" performances like the Bama game, but perhaps no GC is a big factor now. Duh

Look there's no down-side for CLM to say positive things about any QB when he can. Only immature rantards take it seriously or to heart. He is wise in doing so because it covers all bases for all eventualities. If JJ stumbles again this year, then no one can say that the coach didn't give him support or an honest chance. If he surprises and thrives then all of us win...the team and the fans. After all, all I care about is winning football games...not arguments with negative punks with no lives to mention. Go Tigers!

1 month to prepare
Minimal pressure from the rush
Crappy Little-12 DB's that couldn't cover the primary receiver he was staring at

I'll give you the prep time, but JJ looked like crap against McNeese State.

I have no answer for that, other than the only good games he has ever had seem to be when he has a REALLY long time to prepare.

The entire team looked awful in that game.
