Coker started with a bang then faltered. Miles is following the same pattern.

Uh, no, sorry.

And Payton's visor fits.

Congrats to Tome Benson for buying a Super Bowl winning team. And to Sean Payton for knowing in what general direction to lay down the credit card. tear.

Lets look at this logically. As the talent level in the NFL is more constant from team to team, there would arguably be more close games, etc. In this instance what it comes down to is coaching decisions and individual preparation(again coaches). Show me a talent gap in the pros that EVEN COMES CLOSE to the talent gap between a top tier program (LSU/USC/ALA/FL) and a low tier program in college (ULL/CENTRAL MICHIGAN, etc...) Show me that gap in the pros and I'll tell you that you're right in comparing the number of wins between a college coach and a pro coach.

One player doesn't make up the whole team you retard. How about T-Bob starting all season when it was clear that he was getting blown up? Most of our players have underperformed, that is a fact.

Well, I guess it really is much harder to break out the 'ol American Express Card and go buy any player you want, than to convince a recruit to come play at your school & get an Education, while playing Football.

yea, the players were just begging to come here in 2006 after Katrina when we were coming off a 3 win season.

Sandwich, give me my projected 2010 defensive lineup I asked for, damnit.

The projected starting lineups I've seen posted on here thus far don't look too good.

Ive been to coaches clinics where both SP and LM have been there together... heard bth speak and for you to say or incinuate one is better than the other is stupid.

o shite man, I didn't know. You are obviously an expert on the situation based on your coaching clinics.

Mainly b/c you have no clue and secondly b/c SP is now the "flava" of the week/year.

Yea, I like Sean Payton because he is the flava of the week, not because of what he has done for the Saints the last 4 seasons. Every single time the Saints play, I have feel as if we have a coaching advantage over the other team. Does LSU ever have that advantage?

Another thing, Sean Payton has the complete respect of his players, Miles definitely does not.

If you don't think winning in the NFL is harder than winning in college, you are a damn fool.

Yeah & Ciron won the Jacobs Award for "Lifetime Acheivement", even though he graded out 90% in 2009. And Poor Drake Nevis, who had more TFL's than Glenn Dorsey as a Junior. And he didn't even Start! Damn that Les Miles! Oh the pain..the pain..

The difference being Coker won an NC in his 1st year & was fired for the FIU Melee broadcasted Nationally, not job performance. You think anybody at what used to be 'da U before Miles castrated them, is happy with Randy Shannon performance as Head Coach?

If so, would you be interested in a slightly used Salad Shooter?

You are acting like the Saints could get any free agent we wanted too. When payton got here, their were probably no good, healthy free agents wanting to play in nola. The free agents we got were either backups or hurt. It took great talent evaluation on payton's part

i dont know if this has already been said, but Sean learned his gambling style from Parcells, NOT Les Miles.

Putting the blame on lee and jj just shows me that you don't understand the game. Lee must have been the reason that our D was pathetic in 2008. When Miles takes a pay cut to hire a great coordinator, I'll think more of him. At this point, miles hasn't even shown that he can hire a great one

What does Miles bring to the table as a coach that makes him elite? Meyer has offense, Saban and Carrol defense. Sean Payton does offense and quarterbacks. What does Les Miles do?

He was fired for several reasons, including the direction the program was going. For some reason, you are in denial about the reasons why he was fired, as if losing six games that season had nothing to do with it.

quote:

There were a lot of issues, but certainly the direction the program was going was certainly one," Dee said. "I wouldn't say that was totally it, but if you want to look in that direction, that was one. There were disappointments. There were opportunities, I think, to play better and we didn't. It all comes to the head coach."

Go look. It's on Scout & Rivals & the other paysites. Cokers 2005 class had 2 - 5 Star & 11 -4 Stars out of 17 Total commits on Rivals.

This year Randy Shannon signed 0 - 5 Stars & 6 -4 Star players out of 28 total commits.

He wins. More than any other coach in LSU history at this point. Keep spreading your BS about how the players don't respect him & shite. You're a fricking joke. Go watch a practice someday. "Yes Sir"..

Im not.. just stating a FACT that when you have two first yr qbs that have to play b/c they are the only ones to chose from then the team will sturuggle and records will reflect.
