It say you haven't looked at the Tide's defensive roster.
it don't matter, they are getting solid coaching from Saban.

all those winning records, something has to give when they play in conference.
I'd like to see their records against SEC teams ON THE ROAD.

I am not impressed that Miss State can beat Murray State in a money game vs a low end AA (in football, not hoops and not baseball) @starkville

Coaching or no, they're young and they sure as hell aren't the same defense as last year.

It does matter, if they aren't as talented as the guys they replace. I don't see a Cody nor a McClain anymore on the Tide roster, and their DB's don't scare me.

my point to u 2 guys up above is that Saban coached defenses don't make a lot of mistakes,(not with him losing his mind and all on the sidelines) and y'all know that, no matter who they have. We will see, if they beat the Tigers 3 straight times, then I guess y'all will say they had more experience on offense.

with the exception of a few spots in the secondary the other returning players on alabama's d will have played signifigant snaps at some point or another.

Tell that to Iowa

But in all seriousness, and noting that this comes before spring practices, roster moves, or the team playing a single game, they are the stronger team next year. I don't see their defense as taking that much of a step back and with Richardson, Ingram, and Jones returning, their offense should perform well.

On the flip side, we're replacing several starters on a line that already was replacing several starters, as well as replacing the majority of our linebackers. The offense, at this point in time, should be expected to perform abysmally until we see reason to think otherwise.

But we always manage to play them close and the game is in DV this year. Should a few individuals step up, I think we can take them, the West, and the SEC.

it's all good, chil, I wish the Tigers spank that arse too, but I'm just being honest, I see more Lord Saban domination, and LSU finishing with another 4 loss season.

Saban has gone unbeaten in the regular season twice in 3 yrs., think about that. and the Tigers are about fill in 13 spots on both sides of the ball, while most of Bama's key players are back, so what does that say?

That it's easier to win at Bama than at LSU? Cause Saban never came remotely close to duplicating that feat here.

And how many ranked teams has LSU beat in the last two years?
I'm sorry, but the trend is not heading up for LSU football right now. I was not for firing Miles, but it is hard to not think this might be his last year coming up when he kept Crowton after we finished #112 in the GD country on offense.
