Actually I believe it was either Choctaw or BeeFense who said that anything less than an SEC Title game appearance was a failure. So even the pumpers know Miles has to deliver.

Although with this recruiting class, the seniors coming back and the great Aranda hire, I will admit I'm frickin pumped!!!!

Well good.

Now, the question next year will be, how fast will they fricking forget they said that when the time comes?

I'll make the most guaranteed prediction one could make in the history of guarantees.

If we finish some bull shite like 3rd in the SEC West next year, BeeFense or Choctaw(whichever said it) will spent their ENTIRE TIME bitching about anyone who is unhappy with Mile's performance.

But, I'll give whoever you quote this. At least they're not as bad as Gray.

The negas see nothing but gloom and doom even when LSU wins. No matter the margin of victory, it is: "LSU played down to the opponent, Miles took his foot off the gas, LSU lacks the killer instinct, that opponent wasn't any good, LSU won because of luck, LSU would have lost if..........., LSU will never beat (XXXXXX) if they play like that."

Douches are going to douche.

I don't care if you're a Miles supporter or not, there needs to be an expectation for an exceptional season

You know there won't be, though. 9+/10 LSU fans expect our QB play to be poor and expect to lose to Bama. The weight and pressure of those expectations affects the players, and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

ETA: You know there won't be an expectation of an exceptional season, I mean.

Miles' offensive philosophy is the cylinder that is not working in this V-8 called LSU football. Today Felipe Franks said 1 of the 2 reasons he chose Florida or LSU because he would be handing off more at LSU...this is not 1975 anymore and the QBs see it!

If LSU does not finish 3rd in the West how much time will YOU spend bitching about Les Miles?
How much time will you spend from the very first game bitching, regardless of the outcome?
Will there be any game that you snowflake do not bitch?
What's your assertion on that?

If we have a good season and make the SECCG, I will be consider it a perfectly good season.

well. Given that I didn't actually bitch about every game the past two seasons, the quite obviously the answer is yes.

I'm sure some have bitched about every game, I haven't.

I'm merely observing that the net effect is the same. Either the coaching staff is blindingly bad at developing QBs to perform even mediocre OR, the coaching staff is blindingly bad at evaluating QBs such that they end up with QBs who are a complete hindrance to the offense.

When LSU has a QB who is starting after his second year in college:

2005 11-2 (7-1 SEC)
2006 11-2 (6-2 SEC)
2007 12-2 (6-2 SEC) National Championship
2010 11-2 (6-2 SEC)
2011 13-1 (8-0 SEC) SEC Champs, NC appearance
2012 10-3 (6-2 SEC) lost to Bama
2013 10-3 (5-3 SEC) 3,000 yd passer, two 1,000 yd receivers

Combined 78-15 [84%] (44-12 SEC [79%])

When LSU has a QB who is starting in his first or second year in college:

2008 8-5 (3-5 SEC) lost to Bama
2009 9-4 (5-3 SEC) lost to Bama
2014 8-5 (4-4 SEC) lost to Bama
2015 8-3 (5-3 SEC) lost to Bama

Combined 33-17 [66%] (17-15 SEC [53%])

And just to stop you from bitching, I will go on record as saying that anything less than a division championship, and therefore a conference championship is unacceptable next year, particularly if Beckwith and White stay for their senior seasons.

Fair enough.

If we do those things, I will happily go into any thread you like and eat any crow you wish because hell, I'd rather see LSU win than be right.

Conversely, if we do not do those things, hopefully you can stop bitching about the fans who say something about it.

Of course, to be fair..........if we win a division championship because for some odd reason, the entire west shits the bed and we look like UF this year, then that's an obvious caveat.

But I highly doubt that scenario occurs.

Magnanimous of you.

Oh? Your safety net?

Bitching is an addiction to you people isn't it? You can't help yourselves can you?

It's funny and sad at the same time.

You are giving a qualified maybe?

You want an assertion?
I assert that no matter what the result of each and every game, win or lose, the bitching will flood in here. Because bitching changes things, right? If you bitch enough what happens? What does all of your negativity accomplish?

You call that a safety net? I mean, UF sort of did end up pretty rough and the East did shite the bed.

I mean, are you going to pretend otherwise?

Besides, it's pretty F'n unlikely the whole west shits the bed like that. Some safety net.

That's a generalized claim that allows you to be right now matter who does the bitching and allowing you to lump ALL who have ever bitched into the same pot.

Lame.

What does all of your negativity accomplish?

Exactly the same amount as your constant bitching about negative comments accomplishes. But, that shite sure doesn't stop you, now does it?

But yea, it IS fricking magnanimous of me to say I would happily eat crow if Miles defies what many of us think he will do.......ya know..............given that even if we go fricking 2-10, you'll be in here bitching about the fans bitching.

I can watch almost every SEC team and tell what's going to happen probably 70% of the time. It's football not a fricking David Blaine magic show.

You're right. There's virtually no difference among coaches in their ability to keep defenses off balance.

All defenses know basically what's coming and the only difference is execution.

Reality is, you should just be able to draw plays out of a hat and they work if your players execute. None of it is ever the coach's fault.

Well, I would guess he's still here because he's an LSU fan..........was one before Miles came..........will be one after Miles leaves.

He said MILES let the fans down. Miles is NOT LSU no matter how much you fricktards act like he is.
