The last two weeks have sadly reminded us that sometimes in life some people do not learn from mistakes that they make. I’ve always said that people deserve (depending on the individual and the situation) a second chance, hell even a third chance. When it comes to Alleva, though, should any of us be surprised at the black eye that he himself has given the LSU program and then entire university? From the at very least somewhat incompetent way he handled the whole Duke University Lacrosse situation nearly a decade ago; to the last two weeks in which his moments of silence continuously turned into the sound of ignorance, Joe Alleva’s performance needs to come into question.

Aleva is completely over his head in this job. as in previous AD jobs. He needs to hit the road Even if Alexander threw him under the bus and cut him off at his knees, he is still bush league and does not need to be running this ship.

Maybe we can get some genius like Pat Haden or even a professional sports manager like Mickey Loomis...

You dumbasses will finally wake up and realize that TAF members and/or BOS went rogue and caused this whole bullshite... Alleva was in the dark as much as Miles.

Louisiana politics at its finest. Good luck in hiring a reputable AD.

The only way LSU can is to get rid of King Alexander too.

The President and the AD need to be on the same page and that page is keeping up in the pay of top coaches if you want NC's

Its a coaches arms race and they (LSU) dont want to keep up

Wrong. Miles did not put LSU first. Mark Richt was an example of putting his school first. He did what was best for Georgia and will not suffer one bit financially. Miles did what was best for Miles and Aleva did Aleva because he did not have the ability of Georgia's AD to come to a negotiated conclusion. Of course that would take two open minded people.

Nothing miles does puts LSU first. Not recruiting, not teams, not record, not clock management, not qb development, not discipline, not not embarrassing is yearly in the media. Nothing.

Good God, was that written by a fourth grader?

ETA: That's not a comment on the substance of the argument. It was so shoddily written, I couldn't made it halfway through.
