MOT can suck it, too
He had a bloop single after botching a squeeze and allowing two wild pitches that were blockable, the first of which tied the game. He’s the goat, no one else could have done that.

The first attempt almost hit him and the second was way in the other batters box and an absolute shite call by Jay. Both were offspeed. Very few players would be successful in that situation. If they were hittable fastballs, you’d have a point. But they weren’t close.

I’m not saying it was a good call but if a catcher can reach across his body and catch the ball then Milazzo can certainly reach out and touch that with the bat. It looked like he forgot that he actually had to bunt it. The effort was poor regardless of the call.

For what it’s worth…In his post game CJJ said the first pitch was in the zone and he should have gotten the 2nd attempt down as well. Also went on to say that Alex would be the first one to tell you he should have gotten the bunt down.

Yea I would leave this to the coach to straighten out but it is a play that requires discipline to work as the bunt has to be made.if it is a wild pitch the play can be made as the runner essentially steals home. Short of the wild pitch the batter has a job to do. I’ll leave it to his coach to decide whether the play was properly executed by Millazo. The subject here if is sincere must be made by Millazos girlfriend or relative. No one person won last nights game. It ended because Pearson hit the ball over the outfielders head. You might say Pearson executed the play to score Millazo unlike what Millazo did on his bunt play not to mention allowing a score on a pass ball and stranding runners on another at bat. I trust the coach to make the proper evaluation and I didn’t hear him say Millazo won the game. Far from it.
