Well the answer is always on aggregate is there someone better?

Travinski is clearly a better hitter but rough behind the plate. Real power, but he isn’t Dylan crews. Really rough. Idk if there was a ball in the dirt he didn’t let go by him.

Milazzo is the opposite. Elite fielder. Rough rough hitter.

But if Neal is a good hitter and a good enough fielder…. That’s sorta his appeal.

Ty Ross Started 46 games as a freshmen hit .224 and had 20 RBI. Which would be a career season for Milazzo.

Ty Ross was a really good defensive catcher. His sophomore year he actually hit very well too but his freshman and junior seasons he did not.

I would be perfectly fine with Milazzo starting if he is batting in the .250 range. I doubt he can do it but in this lineup and his defense it’s justifiable.

Anything less than that then Neal should be given every opportunity to show. If the offensive output gap is equal to or greater than his defensive gap to Milazzo then I’m all for him starting.
