Good for Mike. Unless you are right on top of his little travel trailer, you can't tell whether there's a tiger or an aardvark in there.

I'm glad this "tradition" is dying out.

I agree it is cool to have Mike on the field to start the game BUT I think sacrificing him being in his habitat all day leading up to the game is not worth it.

I would much rather that everyone can enjoy Mike for the whole day instead of a short glimpse of him parading to the stadium.

I was a student when Tulane stole Mike and cage. Mike was later found unharmed, but colored green.
