Not how it works in the University setting. Usually you send out a notice that there is an opening, than applications come in, you pick some to do a phone interview. Than you invite a handful, than you make your hire. I be shocked if they passed on CP and O with all the talk that it was going to happen.
I honestly believe that an Oklahoma reporter is blowing smoke. Mike Stoops name came out of no-where and suddenly he is the favorite.
