re: Mike only has to work 6 days a year, and he can't even do that!

This thread only points to the differences in those who have been around long enough for LSU traditions to be important. To those of use who grew up with Mike in his cage for every home game, the fact that the Vet School doesn't seem to care about the disappointment of their failure is very important to many people. Put some raw meat in that cage and he will go in. There is absolutely no danger to Mike if that happens. I am over 60 years old and this has never happened before this Mike and this Vet School management. It is unacceptable.

Why don't they just let Mike do Facetime on the big screen for games, instead of having him in the actual stadium?

maybe of him eating the meat with our opponent's logo?
Bound to be able to cook a meatloaf that looks like littly Nicky - be sure to include his nutsack and little pecker in the design of the meatloaf. Do a live feed from the tiger cage.

One of the main things I miss about V is his propensity to roar on command at pregame.
"V" could not stand the two-legged mascot, so when he walked over to the cage, Mike would get pissed off and growl.

You give me a week of controlling his feed and where he is fed and he will never have trouble getting in the trailer again. It is not torture to be smarter than what you are working with.
Post of the thread.

You do understand the vet school staff that takes care of Mike don't want him to go right? so I wouldn't say its a failure, they are doing what they think is best for the cat.
The real question is how does it have any bearing on your game day experience? For me its zero impact.

Just put him a bowl of Jack Daniels and ice in the cage. Know of few males that will turn that down. Also help him get in the mood for the crows and game. Then teach him to lay on his side and piss on the opponents when they come out of the locker room.

So the vet school has no problem keeping this tiger in captivity in a confined habitat 365 days a year, but the mere thought of putting him in a travel cage for about 2 hours 7 times a year is torture.
Why don't they just release him to the jungles of SE Asia?

I would support prodding him to his cage for everygame and caddle prodding him when the opponent comes out of their tunnel like the days of old. If you think differently you're a bigger pussy than that pussy in the cage.
