Since when is pitching your #3, who has been a weekend starter all year long, pitching off? This pitcher from Vandy was lit up his last start and now he's concerned that LSU is not pitching their best? It's pretty simple...
Vandy has to win several games this week to secure an NCAA regional berth. LSU is locked in to hosting a regional (unoffically) and they aren't about to push a starter on short rest and risk them being sore for the real tournament.

josh...remember Monday when you told me that Minor definitely was not pitching against us?.....and I told you I guess Dandy Don is wrong in saying that Minor will start against us?...i told you if Minor's not pitching I'll believe it when I see it....are you surprised that Vandy's pitcher is ready to go against us?....

i'm just messin with ya....you usually catch me when i'm wrong so i finally was able to return the favor....you can call me whatever you want....i'm very thick-skinned....i knew you would get pissed for me writing it twice and i was pretty lucky with the prediction...if i would have read the Advocate Monday, I would not have even said anything in the first place.....the whole thing was a joke to get you pissed off and for me to selfishly get a laugh this morning....basicly, i have nothing better to do but mess with fellow LSU fanatics on the rant....

It looks like Maineri is testing his regional pitching rotation. He will likely throw Ross in game 1 of a regional against the #4 seed. Now if Ross goes out and gets chased after 2 or 3 innings today, maybe he will change his mind. But LSU has to find a quality start out of somebody other than Ranauldo and Coleman at some point to get out of the sub-regional. Gotta win 3 games to win the sub-regional.

tough talk from a guy on a team that got swept at home by one of the 4 teams not making it to Hoover and backing into the tournament.
Minor should be glad he's not facing the K Lady after Vanderbilt's pitiful performance last weekend.
