I do a road trip every year to NorCal about 29 hours but I go slow 3-4 days stop and see all my buddies and have some fun in San Antonio phoenix Pismo beach and spend 1-2weeks with fam then take a different route back normally through shasta to Lake Tahoe salt lake Denver then straight non stop back home and pass out for 2 days

I drove round trip to lambeau from Baton Rouge in college with my buddies. We had fun but wouldn’t want to do that nonstop drive again. Hopefully you have a better result.

Do it! We're choosing to drive even though flying for us would be cheaper. I used to live in Vegas but my wife has never been. We're going to sight see along the way. It'll also be nice to have a vehicle when we're there to drive to Mt. Charleston, Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam. There is a ton of other stuff to see there off the strip.

Fly into Ontario CA and drive up to Vegas.....only a 3 hr drive.

Driven it from Dallas, not bad. You're obvioisly a few hours further but it isnt all that bad.

Luckily I have enough airline miles from work that the flight was free. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to swing it. Take the drive....you may not have the chance for these kinds of memories with close friends again.
