Am I crazy or do I remember when the used the Eye but it wasn't centered exactly on the 50-yard line?

Eye sat the 50 , block lettering of LSU in the endzone like it was 3 or 4 years ago.

You're not crazy.
It was off center at one point, where the 50 yard line would have been the center of the Tiger's head, and you were looking at his right eye. It was off center towards the north end zone.

You probably are crazy, like the rest of us BUT...you do remember correctly. The AD sent out some sort of explanation about how they start the painting off-center because the white of the eye & the white striping, messed with the 50 yrd line stripe-or some BS like that.

I would like to see something else in the endzone. I think the letters look too bunched up, we can keep the same style, just make the letters a little wider and a little space in between.

No matter what they put in that North end zone, the only thing I will see is a flashback of myself doing "figure 8's" with Leonard Marshall re-habbing our ankle injuries wearing nothing but jock straps.
