Unless OSU beats Michigan 50-0 I do not see RR getting fired. 3-9,5-7 and next year if he does not get to 7 wins he will be out. May actually take 8 wins

Besides being a Michigan alum, player, and assistant, why would Miles go coach in Michigan? All tiger fans think that we are on a steady decline after Saban and the 2007 Natl Championship with Saban's players. I would much rather be in a situation like LSU than the weak arse Big 10 and Michigan. Miles would have to rebuild a horrible Michigan. The Big 10 may never recover from the current slump they are in.

I don't think they fire RR this year... it's just so soon
And put me in the camp that wants Miles back next year... the La Tech game was shitty but they won and I really want to see the team LSU fields next year... If we change coaching staff's that progress takes a backward step (and we just spend two years suffering through young quarterbacks - I want the payout from an upperclassman starting)
If Miles were to go to Michigan tho? The names that jump out at me are (in this order) Harbaugh, Patterson, Kelly
Especially Harbaugh and Patterson are ready for prime time

I couldn't handle a new HC change right now. Man our problems could mount real quick.

important thing to remember for UM is they are replacing their AD after this year when Bill Martin retires and UM is on the hook for part of RR's buyout at WVU
and finally UM has taken a hit financially with the collapse of the US auto industry, their season ticket sales were down and RR isn't helping things

Gruden has close to zero experience as a college coach
and how long would it take for rantards to say he won with tony dungy's players and when they got old he sucked?
I'm not really joking... this being the rant there would be sig pics with coker, miles, gruden as the program stepchildren

I would take Chucky. Chucky might beat Kiffin's arse IRL and take his woman!

This has ZERO credibility. The team he built made it to the superbowl with a stand-in head coach. Gruden would have won another if the "tuck rule" BS, worst call in NFL history, hadn't happened. Woodson made Brady fumble, end of story. Gruden's passion is what proves he could make it in college. At least it's enough for me. I moved to SF after college, and went a ton of Raiders games while he was coach.

you don't think the stepchildren thing would hit and hit fast on the rant?
you have a lot more faith in humanity (most rantards are people right?) than I do then

If he would have stayed with the Raiders he would have won the superbowl anyway. He built that team, and should get credit for that superbowl no matter what. He needs a great QB to run his system like he wants though. Gannon was a BEAST when I used to go to Raiders games. We'd need to stop recruiting athlete QBs, and actually get ones that are good QBs. We should do that anyway...
