How many hrs of film on MD have you watched? Hrs at practice? How does your football resume compare to the best DC in college football? Good Lord.

I hate this mentality that you can't question a coaching decision without people asking if you know more than them.

I trust aranda more with the LB group than any other coach on staff.

Even he makes mistakes, and sometimes fans see it before the coaches do. Sorry but it's just true.

How long did welter play in front of beckwith again, while fans were screaming at Chavis?

I was also shocked when I heard O saying Phillips is “competing” for a starting job. I thought the dude had been lights out and has more than proven himself.

Phillips is getting passed up by Damone Clark

. To me LSU has always had inside LB’s that wouldn’t get physically dominated.

Well, that’s incorrect. DJ Welter, I hate to say, never should have been out there.... he got pushed around and never could catch anybody.

We haven’t “saw” nothing yet there sunny boy. I think it’s common knowledge that mlb stands for middle line backer just like ILB stands for inside and OLB stands for outside. The only thing you got is that ILB is correct for a 3-4 Defense vs 4-3 MLB. Regardless he’s playing an inside or middle linebacker whether LSU is in a 4-3 or 3-4 Defense. Your just a douche snoggle... carry on sunny

I'm not worried about anyone on defense performing poorly. Even if a few do, we have another guy ready. The defense just needs to stay healthy.

The offense is still an unknown. I'm buying the hype again, though. Health is even more important on that side of the ball, in several positions.

I don't necessarily disagree, but I don't have anything to base that on..
The ideal lineup in my mind (again based on nothing but my general feelings and preconceived notions) is Chaisson(OLB), Philips(ILB), Clark/Queen(ILB), Divinity(OLB).

Since I don't really have anything to base it on.. I'll go with what the coaches say..

Divinity was one of the best defensive players on the field last year.

MLB is the most important position on defense, and Aranda and O want their best LB in that position.
