good lord, man. do you read? no, you assume from part of what I wrote.
quote:
"descendants from slaves...still in poverty...what it means to be oppressed."
Your implication was pretty obvious. Do you even understand what you write?

People who arrived here from Vietnam unable to even speak English, who were OPENLY hated by the Americans around them, have BLOWN THE frick PAST blacks in every measure in under 50 years. So, save the whining for someone with no perspective
quote:Asians outperform whites.
ah, the ole Irish were slaves too narrative
Is this because there's systemic discrimination against whites? Or is it because Asians (on average) value education more and work harder?
America is truly the land of opportunity for ANYONE that wants to work hard. Examples are everywhere.

quote:there is also the concept of rich black guilt, similar to white guilt.
Wealthy, educated blacks know more about the said oppression of their ancestors and feel the need to express their disapproval for what has happened.
Some rich blacks have a hard time being so rich while a disproportionate amount of their ethnic group remains well below the poverty line. The lazy way to deal with this guilt is to lash out at whitey. (hey to Kanye)
And for the record, I do think police violence against blacks is an issue. How to advocate against it is another matter.

Are you really saying “frick him” to a former lsu player who hasnt committed a felony? Just because he has different beliefs than you. Just seems wrong.
