Most college football fans I know have a view that the SEC is more of a semi pro league than an endeavor of student athletes.

If Bama can't, nobody can.
If you want a joke of a title game, go ahead and pretend like Oklahoma State can play big boy football.
If you're gonna do that, you might as well hand LSU the championship now, instead of wasting their time.

The only thing that might keep Bama out of the Championship game if they beat Auburn...is Utah!
After Utah

That Utah game made me feel so many good feelings. All while laughing wide eyed.

If auburn wins that game, I will laugh forever.

I feel the need to point out that in discussions about a possible playoff the vote goes as follows:
SEC, ACC, Big East : For Playoffs
Big-10, Big-12. PAC-12: Against Playoffs
If the BCS is designed to tilt the system to the SEC, why does the SEC vote against it (and for a playoff) while the PAC-12 votes to keep the BCS?

When the SEC champ claims another BCS title this year, I imagine some of these fogies in the B10/11/12 and Pac10/12 will start to come around. Particularly if it is an all SEC affair.

I'm anxious to see just how long the SEC is BCS streak continues....

It's kind of a novelty, for sure..even if you are not into conference allegiance.
Posted on 11/25/11 at 2:03 am to RogerTheShrubber
I agree. I don't think it's far fetched to say sec could win 10 titles in a row..

So the SEC, which mastered cheating decades ago, has cheated its way to 6 BCSNC in a row,
and
The BCS caused Penn St. to cover up a child molestation scandal.
Guy makes sensible arguments.
