"The BCS has fostered a culture of corruption and blinding greed that stretches across the country. In the SEC, teams mastered that racket years ago. They play by different set of rules. Rule No. 1: There are no rules."

On Nov. 5 LSU ranked #1 played Alabama ranked #2 at Alabama and won. You would think LSU would have been rewarded for the win and Alabama penalized. After 3 weeks, however, LSU is ranked #1 and Alabama is still #2.Additionally, If both LSU and Alabama win this weekend, media say Alabama is a lock to go to New Orleans for the BCS championship game while LSU would have to play again in the SEC championship game. Alabama would be rewarded for failing to make its conference championship game. Don't you think the voters should send another one loss team to NO instead of Alabama?

He provided zero examples of SEC corruption.

And I didn't get why Penn State had anything to do with the point he was trying to make.

But he's pissed off, and that counts for something.

He wasted his time writing that article. I think we've found someone more worthless than Guilbeau.

That was written after a few Sierra Nevada's, I think.

Probably a USC fan!

As much as this bothers me...LSU did benefit from winning an extra quality game in 2007. If LSU loses to GA in the SEC Championship game...I think the only thing it does is makes Bama #1 and LSU #2 in the BCSCG.

If you did a playoff of the top 8 teams...it would end up being LSU/Bama. The BCS only delievers the top 2 teams...and as much as it pisses me off that Bama benefits from a home lose to LSU...LSU and Bama are easily the two best teams in college football.

And f-Bama...I ain't scared!!!

I like the BCS. And a playoff would have the same results. An SEC team holding the title most years. And maybe two of them playing for it quite often.

But I've been saying that if these voters want to really piss off people in other conferences to the point that they are willing to consider doing away with the BCS and trying something different, they've got the perfect opportunity. Vote for Bama.

Bama had their chances, now another team should show they can not beat LSU.

You have NO choice but vote for Bama.

quote:

1 LSU 11-0
2 Alabama 10-1
3 Arkansas 10-1
4 Oklahoma State 10-1
5 Virginia Tech 10-1
6 Stanford 10-1

If LSU beats ARK, LSU goes to 12-0, if Bama beats AU the go 11-1 with their only loss to 12-0 LSU in OT by 3.

OK State has no conference championship game so they will be 11-1 with a lose to a sad arse team.

Va Tech is 11-1 with a win with a possible game in the championship game but their loss was to a two loss team. Same with Stanford....actually...if Stanford plays for the championship...its loss will be to a 3 loss team.

If LSU and Bama win this weekend...its a done deal.

And it sucks that Bama benefits from a home loss...but they are the 2nd best team at this point.

Who would you pick? Va tech?? look at that Boise like schedule!

If the finest girl in the hood is on her period that week, she's still the hottest. When she gets off of it, you still want her over the other skanks.

In closing, Bama had their period and now they wanna frick again. You can't tell them no.

No, not even if their pussy stinks.
