miami vs lsu (from a cane fan)

I feel like this game is truly a toss up. The strength of both teams is gonna be on defense for sure. It will be interesting to see how Burrow looks in this game since he is an unknown quantity. I would expect Miami to have the advantage here considering this will be his first start and the fact that its a primetime game. But your LSU defense is worrisome. I don't how well Rosier is gonna do against this defense. It most likely will be the best defense we face all year. Miami is gonna have to be creative on offense to move the ball as I do not see them out toughing LSU. Should be a close game with ball security being of the utmost importance for both teams. Im a homer so im picking Miami 17 LSU 13. But honestly its a toss up. Cant wait for sunday. Hope you guys beat bama, cant stand those cheaters.

You'll have to forgive or ignore some of the characters on this board.
Glad to speak to a level headed fan. Will be interested to see how much Rosier has progressed this off season. If he has learned to play smarter and safer, then we could be in trouble. If he still gets panicky and slings it up, our DB's will have a field day.

Mark Richt never did very well in early season games. At least that is what I remember from his Georgia days. His teams always shat the bed against S.Carolina, or Tennessee, or somebody like that early and then would get better late in the year.
He's a savant compared to our head coach who lost to Troy and Miss State by 30 last September so I'm not saying we have the edge or anything.

my biggest concern is our OL. we sorta know Burrow will be good, sorta know that the WRs will be better and the RBs worse, but the OL is a complete mystery.
last year you had 6 guys with 50 tackles of more, and 5 of them are back. you led the nation in sacks per game, were 4th in TFL, and 3rd in turnovers gained, including 17 INTs. this sounds insane coming from LSU but we might actually get too dependent on the pass, so Burrow will need to be smart right out the gate to avoid those DBs.

Not true. There are many games where you can turn the ball over and still win. This is not one of those games in my opinion. If either team slips up it could spell disaster. Its a compliment to both Miami and LSU's defenses as they will limit the amount of scoring opportunities.

Let me step in here, this looks like it’s going to be fun. Me, putting it nicely just want to beat the $hit out of LSU to the extent that it sends the program into a tail spin of suckyness for the next 10 years. I want your kitty of a team and cr@p of a head coach to fall behind Vanderbilt in the win column. His a$$ is going to be burning a hole in that chair and they’ll be asking for his head on a plate after game one. So cheers and here’s to the end of your coach!
