Burrow busted your safety sneaking up to blitz (something your coach called) and called an audible. had nothing to do with it being a backup

I think you guys will go about 9-3. That defense flies to the ball and will win you a lot of games.

Y’all also brought more fans than I expected. Good luck to you this year. Richt is a good coach, be patient.

Did you go to Miami or just became a fan?

Receivers weren't open. They made breaks but we closed the gap quick. Miami's QB looked pretty good for the bad situation of our D. We hit him more times than Mayweather hit McGreagor... They have a huge % of their yards by deep passes as with last year. Our D will be stout. Miami has good receivers and D line looked great. Poor coaching.

N'Kosi Perry was the hyped up starter but apparently was inconsistent and couldn't pick up the playbook. I'm starting to take the coaches' word with a grain of salt. Perry cant be worst than Rosier.

Feeling for you with QB issues.

We LSU fans have listened to off season QB improvement for several years and we were hearing it again this year. And then a new guy showed up and beat them all out in a month.

A Grain of salt with Coach speak on improved off season QB play is one grain too many.

Took us a while to realize this as well. When you have a good team and you just need a competent QB, you can easily allow yourself to be gullible and believe these statements from coaches or from Peyton Manning or Trent Dilfer blah blow blah.

And then the first game comes around and all the hope and coach speak was just BS and you see a very similar QB under center from the previous year, still making mistakes.

When this happens to yall 2-3 more seasons, you will really be frustrated like LSU fans have been.

Im not sure anything is more frustrating than to see a great team at every other position lose 2-3 games per season because of poor QB play in multiple seasons in succession.

And I'm quite sure you all witnessed Rosier. Our fanbase has been screaming for a QB change for the longest yet reporters and coaches assured us all of this offseason that he had improved.

Rosier had some nice deep shots that are typically hard to come by against LSU. As the game went on, he was absolutely running for his life. The LSU front 7 constantly had a guy getting lose to push the QB outside the pocket. When ABC showed him on the bench in the 3rd, he looked absolutely gassed. Nevertheless, he still put things together in the second half and did enough to get LSU fans nervous.

Thanks for your comments. Hope you guys win out the rest of the way. I've always liked Richt but he seems to have lost intensity and focus. Hopefully he'll get his mojo back!

Rosier is not a good passer, but he sure is an elusive runner

hope none of the remaining qbs lsu faces are that good running

I think Stidham is in for a beating

Keep ya head up because that defense is legit! Dline replaces a lot but GWillis is a one man wrecking crew. Diaz blitzed too much imo. Y’all got enough studs to play some base. With that D Richt MUST lean on his running backs imo. He went to the flat early one time to Dallas I think and he busted off a solid gain. But he never went back to it which imo would have slowed the olber selling out to the pocket all the time. Hindsight 20/20 and all that with a million things that could be debated. But y’all matched up talent wise minus ST’s which was the biggest difference. And of course we won TO battle.

Excellent analysis!

Seriously, they say Rozier played at Faith here in mobile. They were in our district and played them every year and I swear I don’t remember him at all???

Yeah, I don’t get the rosier hate. He really didn’t appear to be the problem.

You are thankful for the whipping?? I’ll never understand fans who are thankful for their teams loss, but I am glad LSU could oblige you.

Ha, it wasn't Rosier's fault, it was our fault. Y'all will run through the weak ACC until Clemson...

Rosier is pretty good dude! Your O-line needs to improve. Think you will still have a good season though.

we received way too much hype coming into this season
Miami is a good team. I believe the case is more of us being way too underhyped coming into the season. Y'all will probably finish 9-3 at worst, and I could definitely see y'all going 11-1. Y'all have a very favorable schedule. You unfortunately just ran into a very hungry and pissed off Tiger team Sunday.
