Some of you say what you will, but A.J. was more polished in his interview. That said, I am sure that Mett will improve in time. Meanwhile I am thinking and hoping we have a damned strong QB. It's been a long time. I wish him the best.

Not sure it would have been a good idea to play Mett on 1/9. The O line was getting whipped so bad that not even Drew Bres would have helped. That said, I still would have yanked JJ and let JL have a shot.

Man it's so nice to listen to our starting qb speak to the media and not be cringing at how stupid he sounds.
frick the guy making fun of him talking. Anybody would be saying a bunch of "uh's" with 20 reporters asking questions consecutively and a video on you with them trolling you to get some kind of locker room material quote to start the season.

This. Such an upgrade from a DOUCHETARD that goes on national tv and calls Thomas Jefferson "George Jefferson". Was Weezy the VP? I guess Lionel was speaker of the house? QB's are supposed to be, at least a little bit, cerebral.

He did a great job answering the questions and made us all proud! He's the most articulate LSU quarterback we've had in years. For the life of me some people will always be critical!
I bet he did better then any of those critics could have done!
