Mental affect of today’s game

Think of the high this team was on going into the last nine outs of this game. They were throttling Ole Miss in Oxford to sweep the series, then their coach pulls a Manieri. Now instead of celebrating they have to gather themselves again and get ready for another big weekend.

Wont be any different than what happened at the end of the last series. I have no doubt they can bounce back. But they will have better competition next weekend

They took a road series, that’s nothing to be ashamed of

They did leave 9 on base & strike out 9 times

Let’s not act like he ruined a perfect game

At least they won the series but I agree as a fan that one stung. As a player I would be depressed.

It will make them better. They quit hitting after being up 9-1. That's a tough lesson but at least it's a mid-season lesson and not an end-of-the season lesson.
