I'm happy we won but that game was painful to watch.

I missed it. Did SW get the rebound and get fouled on the put back?

Ok.....so let me get this straight we beat a middle of the road CUSA team that probably won't see the NIT and it's cause for excitement?

I remember when I was 8, I went to sleep during Monday Night Football when the Saints played the 49ers on opening night and I got up and my dad told me the Saints won.

Then he told me he was just joking and Mike Cofer kicked the game-winning field goal and the 49ers won.

Good job of trying to extract the negative out of a positive.

The Duke game is on, if you need to support a basketball team that wins 90% of its games.

The rest of us are cheering a TIGER victory.

Just got back from the game. Glad LSU won but believe me it was more difficult to watch live. I just do not get some of the personnel decisions Trent makes.

Yeah, I really don't want to be negative about a win but...

I don't need to cheer for a team that wins 90% of its games.....I want to cheer for a team that at least puts a competitive product on the floor relative to its resources. There is no reason LSU's basketball program should be this far down on the totem pole that it's not even December and it's a pretty certain bet this team will struggle to receive an NIT bid. I hope I'm wrong, but the product being put on the floor is garbage.

The fact that we count on so many young players gives me hope. That being said, if we played a good team tonight, we lose big. I've only seen two games this season and was expecting much more tonight.

As has been said many times, Trent's fate will be decided this season. There is no reason to bitch about a win. There will be plenty of chances for you to show that you are a tough love, bad arse Tiger fan.

Besides, Houston beat Arkansas and is not a bad team. Scores don't mean shite in today's college basketball.

Just got back from the game. It was fun to watch, and I was proud of the Tigers for battling back. They definitely have more athletes on this team. Warren was awesome. First time to see O'Bryant play. They guy is a raw, but he is a specimen. I think he'll mature into a good one.

I agree, check Houston's resume so far.

LINK

19th in the Country in points per game and we held them to 58. They lost to a recent Tourny team in Oakland and lost on a buzzer beater against a solid TCU. Houston also beat Arkansas who had a good year last year as well.

I've never said that before. Everyone talking about Houston's resume makes me feel better about the win. Neither team looked good tonight and we looked completely lost at times. I don't put it all on Trent by any means. I still believe he might be a good coach.

My friend texted me that she got the ESPN Iphone text stating that LSU lost and that she's a jinx to the team. Then I come on here to read about the game and read "SouthofSouth"'s thread saying we won. So I go to ESPN.com and see that we won 59-58 but are 3-4. I knew we were 3-3 going into the game so I was all kinds of confused. Did we win/lose/win and lose. WTF happened?
