Memphis lost to Alabama by 12 and Louisville by 9 : both at neutral sites.
For LSU... It was a road win. Builds confidence.
Kentucky game next Wednesday should be very exciting.

I don't give a shite where those two teams were picked to finish. The beginning of that game looked a lot like a first round NCAA tournament game and LSU held their own while Memphis was red hot. Good win for Wade and this team with a bunch of new faces.

Winning on the road against an average team when you were picked dead last in your own conference is an accomplishment.

winning on the road is the hardest thing to do in college athletics. i'll take it.

The people who sugarcoated the loss against SFA were ridiculous
Are you one of those people who think it was a horrible loss? Of course it's not good losing at home, but let's not act like SFA is a terrible team

Losing at home to a Southland team is not good. Losing at home to a Southland team who was barely above .500 last year and didn't have their best player the entire 2nd half is even worse. Are you one of those people that think Brad Underwood is still there and they're only going to lose a few games all season? As bad as the SFA loss was, the win last night was very good.

We should prolly tap the brakes on this win. Southeastern beat SFA last night too, however, I’m still encouraged by our team and coach. If we can get to .500 in conference, Wade will be Coach of the Year.

We’re you born negative.

I understand what you are saying and no, Memphis is not a powerhouse.
BUT they have a great basketball tradition and while not a blue blood, have a program with a national reputation.
With the shite show we were last year, to beat them on the road is a feather in our cap and cannot be discounted.

Road win by a team picked to finish last in the SEC. I'll take it all day long.
