We should prolly tap the brakes on this win. Southeastern beat SFA last night too, however, I’m still encouraged by our team and coach. If we can get to .500 in conference, Wade will be Coach of the Year.

No one is really saying it's a great resume building win... But for this team to go on the road for the first time and knock off Memphis (who hadn't lost at home all year) it's still impressive

Who is saying this is a huge win? It's good to get a road win right before conference play, dont see anybody saying this is the win to end all wins.

We won a road game by 10 with against a team everyone's heard of . I'll thoroughly enjoy it today.

I don't think anyone is penciling LSU into the Final Four after last night's win. Memphis isn't very good. HOWEVER, getting a 10 point win on the road is good progress for this team and hopefully gives them some confidence going into SEC play. Especially in light of the fact they open SEC play with the two best teams in the league right now (UK and A&M).
Last season this was probably a 10 point loss. Particularly in light of the fact LSU struggled on defense and rebounding in the first half. But to see a team that has been HORRIBLE on defense thus far completely lock down Memphis, on their court, in the second half was very encouraging. As well as shooting 50% from 3 point range. LSU isn't a team that's going to make a living scoring inside. But if they can hit 3's on the road that's going to give them a chance to wins some SEC games

Even after a nice win on the road when no one expected anything from us, you still have something to complain about. Sometimes I hate the frick out of our terrible fan base. You guys just stay fricking miserable all the time.

The people who sugarcoated the loss against SFA were ridiculous, but winning on the road by double digits is always a big accomplishment.

They easily lose the game under Johnny Jones. It’s just a sign that improvement is coming in the long term. We have a legitimate basketball coach now.
