For those of you describing LSU as mediocre turn on your TV and look at today's bowl game. These two programs are what mediocre looks like.

Ole Miss played us as tough as you possibly can without winning in Death Valley this year. They are definitely trending upward and we will have a ton of new faces on D next year. Not to mention the offense will still be pathetic. 4th in the west is possible, bro

they were better than us in 2008 and 2009. people probably laughed at the idea of that in 2007.

Next year is going to be a rude awakening for the fan base. Losing half the D and no changes will be made to the offense combined with a tough schedule. Having said that, I also believe 2014 will be a huge year for the program

There should be an insane amount of experience and depth everywhere else though. It's not like we ever get good QB play, so I think we can overcome with a veteran o-line and Hill carrying the ball

We went toe to toe with mediocrity. Hate to see what happens when that mediocre team improves.
