No one honestly thought we would be 100% in this game. It is fairly obvious that Les and Co. were looking forward to, and preparing more for, AU than McNeese, as well they should've been.

This was a mean-nothing game vs a terrible team, meant to be a rest game before we play the big boys again.

We almost put up 40. Both teams were free of any serious injury. We are 7-0.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

I dont buy that...it is still an opportunity to go out there are work on some things, try not to make mistakes, etc. We played bad, and we are lucky it was McNeese and not another SEC team.

Gotta disagree with you there. Dude from McNeese probably ended his career.

Not so much for McNeese.

And as far as your opinion, coaches were definitely doing some AU work during the week. I also think Les was trying to give some different looks as AU prepares for us, don't think it worked out like they thought in their head. However, they will think they will have to prepare for two QBs.

It was an opportunity to play Lee an entire game before Auburn. Every snap Jefferson took was a wasted opportunity for the entire team.

Well the Tigers had a bad hang over from the last 2 games so going out there to try new things just don't cut it they did exactly what was needed by running the football and they did that with succession and with like 5 different rushers a win is a win is a win!!! Next week expect to see a tough fought game!!

I agree. I'm really not at all concerned by this game.

I agree, LSU got a win and some young players got some quality minutes, and McNeese got a moral victory holding LSU under 50. It was a win-win for both last night.

I do go to school there. That does not change the fact that this McNeese team is terrible.

I disagree. Never did really anyone think we were going to lose that game. At times McNeese really moved the ball.. stacked the box on the other side and stopped Ridley, however, JJ is not looking well and needs reps to get better. This in turn created a tooth pulling game, but I think JJ will serve a purpose in future games.

I know we are all biting at the bit for a "complete" game, but McNeese is a game to get guys looks and some experience.

We will see what happens next game, but I believe Lee will get most of the snaps - JJ comes in to give a different look in running or short passes.

Sure. They're terrible. Ignorance

It was Reynaldo Young who broke his leg. Why ask anyway? You don't pay attention and don't know anything about the program anyway

Reynaldo Young during punt return. I think he either broke his leg or definitely torn a ligament. I believe it was Graff rolled his leg as Young was trying to field the ball.. looked terrible on the replay and they only showed it once.

eta; sorry to repost info.. and i have to agree.. McNeese is not terrible. As far as other teams "fluff" games around the country, I think we definitely had a harder one.

So a 2-4 record, with wins over football juggernauts the likes of Lamar(close game vs a rebuilt opponent) and Northwestern is the mark of a great team? Please remove head from arse.

I know a few McNeese players. Just making sure it wasn't any of them.

ETA: I'm sorry. They aren't terrible. They are bad...really weak...or maybe remarkably not good?

Very sad. You go to school at McNeese and all you do is talk bad about it. Couldn't get into LSU huh? And that makes you bitter toward McNeese? Ha! Do all McNeese people a favor and transfer to Baton Rouge Community College so that you can be closer to a school you'll never be able to attend. So very sad. A guy like you will probably (or have already, that's why you're so bitter) fail out of McNeese anyway. If that's the case then I certainly understand and disregard my remarks. I'd be bitter too.

Since getting into LSU is so difficult?!

Get out of here with that shite. I attend McNeese the SCHOOL. That does not necessarily make me a fan of their football team does it? I live in Louisiana, does that make me a Saints fan?

I am and have always been a fan of LSU athletics. Just because I attend another school does not alter or weaken my love for the Purple and Gold. Furthermore, I'm not sure if you attend classes regularly, but the course difficulty for a Junior at McNeese isnt that high.

Next time you decide to call someone out you should ramble less and introduce some viable, thought provoking, if possible inteligent, fodder for conversation... Run along.

BTW: "McNeeseWillBeatLSU"= MASSIVE fail.

Yeah, you failed out. Learn how to spell intelligent first and then reapply. They might accept you back. Sorry to hear that though.
