I was told last night that he has looked very very good.
Accurate and smart kid. Jennings knock on him right now is that he improved his accuracy but making alot of the same mistakes and the trouble this summer set him back.

I was also told McMillan could be the backup.. but doesn't think it will happen because lack of experience but in the future yes.

As long as AJ is here he will be the backup.

He knows the offense very well and can be trusted to run it with the game on the line (Ole miss, Florida, Wisconsin, Arkansas 2013)

The person who told you that needs his head examined and knows nothing about being a college qb.

Brandon Harris - recruited by current OC
Justin McMillan - recruited by current OC
Anthony Jennings - recruited by former OC

While I have a hard time believing that McMillan will pass Jennings in the next two years, with the right guidance, it is certainly possible. Cameron thought the kid would be a good fit for what he likes to do. We can't have that same clarity with Jennings.

it's true that McMillan will be a good QB and a good backup this year. May have the talent to be a starter in the future

I could see him moving up to number #2 this year. Same position Harris was in last year by not having real experience and limited time getting to know the playbook.

Cam and Les love the h*ll out of McMillan.

He will not pass up Jennings. But that's fine because for once in 8 years we finally have quality QB depth we don't have to depend on from day 1. Let the guy learn in the system for a couple years and he can compete for the job with some actual experience.

I've been high on McMillan since I first watched his film.

Has anyone seen him look bad? I'm sure he has against this level of Competition, but in every report, he's killing it...Spring Game, First scrimmage, a TD machine....So, who has some bad reports on him?

Probably won't burn his redshirt unless the have to. From what I've heard he has the makings of the real deal

This kid was underrated comin in, but I knew was a very good QB. His last year in HS was a bit subpar for him. But this kid can sling it! Is very intelligent. Just a great pick up even though he wasn't the intended target at that HS.

I would think Harris will start and Jennings plays some at the end of McNeese. If McMillan plays in this game, I believe it is possible he could supplant Jennings at some point this year.

I would think they would like to red shirt him this year.

Sorry, won't happen. They'll want him to redshirt. Also Jennings has game experience that is invaluable. You want that in your backup QB. It's how UGA and USCe stayed afloat when Murray and Shaw went down several times. Kenny Guiton is how OSU stayed afloat, when Braxton Miller went down.

not much cabbage between his ears and working from day one like he's got something to prove. It took Harris most of a year to get there.

This.

And McMillian needs about 30 lbs. We need to keep him redshirted if we can.

Don't shoot me for asking this question, but does McMillan remind anyone else of that lefty qb Auburn had a few years ago named Brandon Cox? Smart, athletic lefty with the ability to win games but also the ability to NOT hurt you in important situations... Cox's arm was fairly decent and he could make a play on his feet when needed. Kid was a winner too. All in all, frick Auburn, but I thought the comparison was somewhat in line... Geaux Tigers.

They will and if CC tells him he needs to he will without being told twice. I'm looking forward to where he ends up. If Jennings resigns himself to a backup roll he could very well be #3 by the start of next season

I've been having it you're just a no listening hardheaded mofo. Don't think if Jennings doesn't keep his head in the game he won't get passed this year, tho. Very well could happen
