Not according to his hire, even at the time it was a giant question mark.

Yeah, In addition to all of the other contradictions and hypocrisy that WW faced that we reference constantly - my BIL was telling me something that I guess as WW said I've been living under a rock, because I had no idea about....

The Florida coach Golden with these multiple stalking and sexual harrassment claims. And of course he denies them and says he'll file defamation claims, but I think there are actual texts and other traceable communications that make it pretty difficult to deny and really creepy stuff.

Yet I don't recall Forde cranking out monthly articles and Dick on his soapbox asking the Florida Administration to fire him. And to me if this stuff is true are even partially true are much worse than anything WW did.

I suspect what may be going on is they can’t raise the buyout money

We could buy him out, without much issue. I don't think this is it.

Either it's a legitimate "We haven't funded NIL enough and that's on us" or it's a smoke screen and he's going to be canned. Either way. it's going to be tough to get some better assistant coaches in here if he's considered a lame duck head coach.

I watched the press conference and that quote isn't really accurate

LINK

"I love the recruiting class we were able to sign in the early period, and we all know the importance of the transfer portal as you look at college athletics in 2025"

quote in the OP implies he has just come to a realization "now" and had no clue before. that's not honest.

Entirely possible.

I will say though the flaw, in my own logic, is if LSU is feeding information that they are going to "increase NIL spending", then presumably there is money committed to doing just that. It then stands to reason that if there is money available to "increase NIL" (to any significant degree) then that same money is available to simply allocate it to paying McMahon's buyout

If the implication is either he performs better next year with increased NIL or we make a move, then all LSU is doing is "saving" ~$2.7M of paying McMahon for an additional year to NOT coach. Is the amount of the NIL increase minus the anticipated loss of revenue that will likely occur with another year of McMahon greater than $2.7M? If so, you may as well just each the $2.7M and move on.

Enough of the fricking excuses to explain why Mcloser sucks as a coach, accept it and move on and get a coach that can coach and win games

A new coach might demand they step it up to championship level like Mulkey demanded of them. McMahon will just collect his check and all they have to do is bump him up from embarrassingly bad support to inadequate support.

Yeah OP posting false information but he’s already got the narrative going.

You cannot blame CMM for Woodard's stupidity. He should have had NIL funding from the start. CMM needs a chance to compete and get better players with this NIL money and I expect better results next year.
