He was dealt a sh*t sandwich year 1. I do think the team is underperforming some but its nowhere close to a NCAAT team to begin with. We have bench players from NC State, Mississippi State and Murray state playing vital roles on this team. That's a straight up red flag.
Ultimately we wont know about McMahon until years 2/3 once he can get some recruiting momentum going and better players in the program (hopefully).
I do think right now this might be the worst team here in the last decade. Yes, even worse than the 2-16 SEC team under Johnny Jones. At least that team had some actual talent.

Are you watching the games? It’s the same thing game after game. At least change things up. Do some full court press, push the ball up the court. Quicker shots. Block out better. Ditch the zone defense. Coach better

It depends solely on if the team is winning or losing. Coach O was very animated. In 2019 everyone loved it. When we started losing, they said he's just throwing a fit. People clowned Mainieri for not being animated. Jay Johnson is the same way, but people don't have a problem with it. They don't know what they are talking about, but want to sound smart.

Agree that many of our fans are stupid.
Luckily, like the OP many of them self identify by making posts that advises everybody else not previously aware of their stupidity.
BTW, $2.9 mil sounds about right for this coach for this job. The program was left in shambles, so not every qualified coach was scrambling to take the LSU MBB HC job...
