if the position is really a battle, he shouldn't have said anybody, which is what miles generally does

That would be great, but I think he's just a Miles guy.

the media would have us believe that it was a 2 horse race between taylor and hatcher with mccray on the outside looking in

the advocate would have you believe Jarrett Lee is far and away the best QB on the team

I think hes a great player...hes just always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

ala Percy Harvin touchdown last year. If McCray was an inch farther back, he would have made a good play.

How many SS are in the "right place" against one of the most dynamic playmakers in the country who runs a sub 4.4 forty? It's absurd to even think that's a legit reason as to why Danny shouldn't start at SS.

And yet you have no idea if a "Miles guy" even exists. That's something the rant has made up.

Ryan, god damn. Have you watched a football game before? You're terrible in this thread.

I don't think you can ding him too much on that play, he was right with Harvin. Had McCray not tipped the ball it would have gone over Harvin's head and been incomplete.

Maybe Washington's first play will be a running play.

I completely agree, except that if we go up against Florida with a weak link in the secondary, it will be exploited, just like it was last year.

This is the answer. Its been obvious since day 1 with McCray constantly giving up big gains, yet ALWAYS staying on the field.

Do you think every DB on the field is matched up man to man with a WR every play? Most of the time the SS is not going to be lined up on a slot WR in man coverage. If we're playing someone running 4-5 WRs every play like UF, I'm sure Taylor will be in there.

don't know what the deal with hatcher is. It seemed like it was his job to lose after spring ball

Lazare seems pretty sure that McCray is definitely the dime back when facing 4 WRs. Doesnt that mean he'll cover one of them unless he blitzes?
