The fact that CMM is still using the Boot Up branding is stupid. If you’re resetting the culture make it a clean sweep, Boot Up will forever be linked to Wade because his team came up with it.

How old are you? If all you had was the Wade years, then you haven't experienced much LSU basketball.

Nice write up

The media picked them 13th. The advanced metric sites have them between 9-12th best team in the SEC. Maybe a better record than last season, but non-conf schedule looks tougher.

Hopefully steal a win or two we have no business winning. NIT would be great but for me next year is put up or shut up time for McMahon

I just don’t see how this team is any better than last years. It’s gonna be brutal. Especially if no Cook.

Carlos Stewart (15.2 ppg, Transfer, Santa Clara)
Corey Chest (Freshman 4 Star F)

Damn, in back to back years McMahon has had to to damn near rebuild his roster from scratch. I hope he's able to find some stability. Louisiana doesn't have the recruiting base basketball wise to handle this type of turnover every year.

Really think wright was a key pickup. He should be able to play 4 of the 5 positions if needed(tasmin style?). More than likely the 2nd or 3rd option to run a half course setup. High basketball iq who seems like a natural leader.

Reed and Ward have the opportunity to accelerate their careers if they run the floor well. Baker and fountain should be able to compete with most teams on the boards and we do have more speed than last year. Therefore I see us being much better running the floor.

I’m starting to rethink my original declaration of .500 in sec play as this teams ceiling.

A healthy wilk can greatly improve your defense, while hannibal\reminds me of tac. These are key players who can still produce off the bench. Still expect them to get key starts but the backcourt and wings are in good hands with the competition from their peers.
