I say we score under. One of the top defenses in the country.

Depends on how many 3s Miller wants to brick

I'd have to say under here, my instinct was we'd play well the other night so I did my optimistic take before the Auburn game and got burned.
So, if every instinct I have is wrong....the opposite must be right! So I'm going under...and Tennessee by 30.

At this point just keeping it competitive will be a win. Thought they would do that against Auburn.

As did I. I've been watching LSU hoops for 50 years. I will concede we've had many teams with more talent over those years but I'd also counter that we've had teams with lesser talent over those same years to that have been easily more competitive than we've been the last 4 games.
Why is that - I could not tell you. The only hope is that whatever it is CMM can root it out and get us at least back to where we were before the last 4 games.
Because what I'm seeing in the last 4 is the little things that a team can do that don't require talent are not being done.

Correction — THE top defense in the country.
However, the line only opened at Tennessee +10. Given how bad LSU has looked over the last 2 weeks that seems about 4-5 points too low. Maybe McMahon is going to completely flip his offensive approach and go more uptempo, who knowns? But that line is a little suspect IMO

Hopefully UThug has an off day shooting which leads to transition opportunities. I watched McMahon closely during the auburn game and he was constantly urging them to get up the floor after every rebound. You could see even against the cupcake teams earlier in the season that we were pretty rigid in half court. Again our only chance is if this somehow stays in the 60s.

I would counter that the SEC is much stronger now than over that time. Hell, Kentucky is 3-3 (8th place) and Arkansas is sitting in the bottom with us at 1-5.
I also think that we were beat up a bit after the one two punch of Arkansas and Kentucky to start the conference, particularly the beating KJ took against Tshcwiebe. You could see he was off for the next two games which caused all sorts of doubt in the team as they scrambled for points.
Fortunately we have the bottom of the SEC to finish the year against. I just hope we are healthy enough when we play them.

Tennessee had in SEC play, it may still be a going, a streak of holding their opponents scoreless until the after the 1st TV timeout. We're probably looking at another 1st half in the teens.

Remember though that historically Tennessee really struggles at LSU. I know that this is not a typical LSU team but I am expecting Tennessee to have a cold shooting day. I put some money on LSU +11 and I may throw a little on LSU moneyline.
