None of that applies to what alt posted and your previous logic about movement is positively false. It’s also funny you making accusations then doing exactly what you alleged.

There has to be a point for there to be a counter point. You haven’t made one, all you’ve done is present a false logic based on trends. How can everyone or 99% of teams trend down? That’s mathematically impossible.

nope. "trending" doesn't mean anything in this context.

a team that is currently ranked high is more likely to finish ranked high than a team currently ranked low.

Yeah, I think you are looking a bit too deep into the statement.

I said the current overall class rank is 21. The 2022 overall class rank was 17...e.g. it's trending towards the current class being ranked lower than the 2022 class...that was purportedly hampered by the investigation/threat of sanctions. I never said that trend couldn't change. Just that's where the trend is heading now.

I guess I didn't think that was a difficult concept to grasp

every time a team picks up a player, one team move up, and every team they passed moves down. one up, lots down.

if a team picks up a good player, and moves from 40 to 4, #4 to #39 move down, but only one team goes up. then another team moves from 50 to 12, a bunch more teams go down, only one goes up. see how that works? now we have 2 teams that went up and dozens that went down. almost every team movement means way more teams move down

most team movements are down. for any given day, almost everyone moved down.

and trending down has no predictive power about future movement.

get it?

the trend has no predictive power. its only to do with the timeline of the signings. if they had signed guys yesterday instead of weeks ago the trend would be up. still wouldn't mean anything and would be exactly the same.

Not what you said previously but still mathematically impossible.

This is INSANE revisionist history

Is it? so by saying what I'm saying is insane revisionist history you are saying that Robert Miller, Curtis Givens and Jalen Reed or without question and unarguably better than the returning trio of Adam Miller, Mwani Wilkinson and Justice Williams.

I think a reasonable argument can absolutely be made.
