Anyone who wants Jay fired already shouldn’t be allowed to post on baseball related topics

The majority is just frustrated by what we’re seeing, but are not calling for the dudes head.

And that’s ok.

PMs roster in 2007 vs JJs roster in 2022 don’t equal.

Obviously JJ shouldn’t be fired and we shouldn’t be suggesting that. But the fan base has every right to be frustrated with the way this team has played. They are playing like a poorly coached team.

Well that’s it. It’s settled. Jay will win over 100 games his next 2 years after this season ends. Anybody wanting Jay to get fired already is an insecure bitch, but I love how we’ve done a 180 now that this season doesn’t look like it’s going as planned. He has 4 all Americans in his lineup alone, the pitching isn’t there, but we have the talent to be beating good teams and we haven’t. Oh and not to mention this is the worst fielding I have ever seen an LSU team play with. Before the year it was Omaha or Bust!! World Series Champs! What are we claiming we are now?

Can we compare the talent level of 2007 and 2022?

Jay will win a natty at LSU. Listening to guy talk, he’s a baseball genius. He is playing with the cards he has right now. He has openly said that we don’t have a 1st or 2nd round draft pick on our pitching staff right now.

You’re a moron if you think Jay doesn’t have the talent to be winning games.

Imagine this pitching staff without Rezyelman and Cooper right now and if Fontenot would have entered the draft.

2 things can be true at once.

Jay Johnson is in his first year with mostly players he didn’t recruit and deserves time to figure it out.

Jay Johnson is doing a bad job of managing this team this year so far this season.

He is winning games? And the games we have lost, we’ve been in position to win. You can’t tell me the errors won’t improve. Thompson has the yips. I’d rather it be now than in May. And let’s not forgot this lineup was NOT clutch last year. Crews hit his 1st SAC FLY as a tiger like a week ago. Doughty was not good against SEC pitching last year. These are improvements from last year. I wanna win games as bad as anyone but give the damn guy a minute to catch his breath.

He is winning games against Beth Cookman and Maine bruh. He isn’t winning games against good teams. The games we lost that we were positioned to win, directly ties into how bad our defense has been. We easily could have won numerous more games this year, had we even remotely played decent defense. Thompson has much more than the yips. He’s averaging like an error a game this year.
