Pretty sure it was about Craig James' son and the Texas Tech thing.

Hey guys, I know the national media sometimes says some pretty crazy things, ESPN especially, but I've got to defend Matt Millen in THIS case. I record "CFL" every day and watch it the next AM. I watched the episode in question this AM.
There was more to Millen's comment than the above quote. What I heard him say was that the type of scenario required for LSU to drop out of #1 and #2 would include:
OK State winning big over OK.
LSU looking "bad" against UGA.
LSU "losing convincingly" to UGA.
His comments are pretty much in line w/ the majority of the media as well as the BCS experts. Yeah, ESPN guys sometimes say some silly stuff, but that wasn't the case this time when you look at his actual comment. This team has been extremely focused ALL season long. I think it's unlikely we "lay an egg" against UGA. Even if we do lose to UGA, beating AL at home has given us a little room for error.

Here's a novel concept: DONT WATCH ESPN

We should be playing to win the game, instead of the media trap to plsy not to lose.

Millen's scenario

That would be a huge injustice if we lost and Bama gets into the NC game and we don't. I don't care if Bama gets in, but we should already be in. The discussion should be whom we play.

The discussion was whether there was any scenario where Ok State could move past Alabama and get into the BCS Championship game.
Millen's take was that OK ST could get in over LSU, if LSU lost to UGA.
I guess he would consider 11-1 Ok St with a signature win over a 2-loss Oklahoma > than a 12-1 LSU with three wins over top 4 teams and wins against 3 other ranked opponents.
Millen's scenario would also require an 11-1 Alabama team to be elevated over a 12-1 LSU team that beat Bama in Tuscaloosa and had an otherwise tougher schedule.
No wonder the Lions tanked when that fool was their GM.
Dont kid yourself ......If LSU loses.....This will be the ESPN agenda

LSU has the stronger resume this season by far over all other college football teams schedules and results, it's not even close.
I just hope this team keeps its focus in the remaining 2 games they play and win them both.

I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS!
Watch it happen if we lose.
We will lose last and bama will jump to 1 and okie state will play them. I feel like we have been set up personally.
This way would make ALOT of people happy
You are a strange dude.

If LSU loses to Georgia we don't deserve to play in the championship. I say give Ok State an opportunity at Bama if that happens.

LSU losing to Georgia should actually hurt Bama IMO.
Would be classic!

"Bama got pushed out of the computers #2 because LSU's loss hurt them. UGA is in the Sugar Bowl. LSU to the BCS NCG. Bama to Orlando."

Not happening...

I don't see why LSU should be punished for a loss in the SECCG, a game Bama didn't have to play. That's just absurd.
If that happens, we need to occupy ESPN. And if I was the AD or coach, I would boycott the whole thing.

F that!
If you're going that direction, let OSU play VT.
