I was also in the student section like 10 rows up. One of the greatest moments I can remember that 2003 season. Great tailgate that day. It was hot AF

In the student section for that one. Green was running straight at me. I was about 5 rows up. It got crazy in there for sure.
That game I stood/sat in line at the student gate all freaking night starting at around 10 or 11 pm Friday night. There was a bunch of us. I remember some food joint bringing us a bunch of free food at some point. Maybe it was pizza I can’t remember. That was a LONG day

I'm about 3 people to the right of the guy in the white shirt over his left shoulder...me and my future wife.
That ball seemed to hang in the air forever.
Saban called the home crowd out in the days leading up to the game...wanted a night game atmosphere during the day.
DJ Shockley almost crapped himself in the shadows of the south end zone when he had to enter the game for a series. Got thrown straight into the goal post by a menacing, relentless D Line.

I truly feel like you’re never ever going to see an atmosphere like you did this day.

That play propelled LSU to win their first NC in 45 years in college football and start a 20 year run

That was my 1st game at Tiger Stadium, in the west upper about 3 rows from the top before the renovation, it was steep. What an experience for my 1st game. Been to several since but none that I have been too has compared to that epic game.

The fans were so hungry for a title in 2003. We were at our peak. The ESPN college game day atmosphere will never be topped.

It really did feel different after that day. Despite losing to Florida a few weeks later. That win validated that we were big time and could get back to the top, it was just a matter of time. Who knew how soon it would be.
Honestly, after the Florida loss we're all tailgating and the thought was it's just a hiccup. We're good.

I was there in north endzone. It was spectacular and electrifying.
As to wether it was the loudest moment or not i couldnt say. In my mind there is sort of a maximum tiger stadium sound that has been more or less “tied” several times.
Since the stadium has been expanded its loudest volume is louder than before.

Single loudest moment for me was the blocked field goal in 2008 vs Alabama

Agreed. At least for games I attended.

I heard that was the loudest game ever in Tiger Stadium. Were you there?
Was working one of the concession stands for my buddy’s little sister’s softball team
Thought the stadium was gonna come down

Loud but 2007 Florida is the loudest I’ve experienced
