That's not even true. Russell with the worst team possible and high on Syrup has been better than Flynn. At least Russell made 36 mill off of his two college years. Flynn made 21 mill and more off of one game in the NFL. People like to praise a clear of mind Flynn for duping 3 teams out of money out of money, but Russell had serious depression and addict problems. The fact that Flynn can still play and start and Russell can't get back in it is the reason why so many organizations fail every year. Russel has serious talent, seems to have gotten better, but he can't get the chance to prove himself even in preseason.

Only beaten by the OP, this is the 2nd to dumbest post this year.

Hey man, you might have been one of the bums who ran this rant back in the day praising over and over Russell's talent to throw 60 yards from his knees, but really, get a life.

Yeah, Russell not getting a legit shot is why so many teams fail. Got it.

Well not in the NFL he wasn't.

Russell was the better qb at LSU certainly.

I wish he could have another shot though in the NFL on a different team

Many of back then did not think so - Russel threw things up for grabs and was bailed out by receivers often.

I'll never forget what a Tennessee guy told me at that game. When Russel drops back to throw, one or the other bands is about to play.

Flynn was mishandled by who was that - oh yeah - the same moron that mishandled Jarrett Lee. This game is actually just further proof of that the LSU head coach does not have the ability to recognize his best chance to win when choosing his QB.

Same here. He must have just completely lost trust within all of the NFL. You would think the former #1 overall pick would be able to at least make a roster if he gives an effort, which it appeared he gave this offseason.

a back-up professional QB, which ain't bad work, if you can get it...

this and being a kicker are the best jobs in the NFL. Good money, no wear and tear, no concussions.

You can't be that ignorant. Brandon Weeden, Christian Ponder, Josh Freeman, Nick Foles, Terrelle Prior and Jason Campbell have all had concussions just this year.

Steve Young had 7 concussion, Troy Aikman had 10. Roger Staubach had 20, God only knows how many Jim McMahon and Brett Favre had. Favre was sacked 525 times in his career.

Very nice! All Matt Flynn has done is lead the Packers to their biggest come back. And a few years ago, set the record for the most touchdowns in a game. I can see why people think that he lacks game. Not!

Matt Flynn just said that you don't know as much as you may think.
