Never said or insinuated that. Just pointed out that he took over two programs whose coaches were fired for sucking and didn't suck at all. Some idiot posters on this board wanted to hire the guy who had gone 4-7 - Lane Kiffin - as the LSU head coach. It's VERY obvious that CEO is a MUCH BETTER coach than the guy who was fired on the tarmac at an airport upon the team's arrival.
Loaded with talent teams that don't win aren't worth a shite.

Aren't you the one who said they could provide multiple IHC's that were successful?

USC was 3-2 when Lane was fired. LSU was 2-2 when Les was fired. Were they underachieving, yes. Sucking? No, there's not a lot of turning around he had to do.

The USC coach was fired at the airport. Go to ESPN and check the schedules of USC and LSU. The ends of the previous seasons and the seasons where the coaches were fired. USC was 3-2 with wins over Hawaii, Utah State and Boston College. Their losses were to Washington State and an arse kicking by Arizona State 62-41. None of those teams were good during the 2013 season. Washington State was 6-7.

I love when people say this. He sure did but those programs were also failing as of late and he revived them. So by saying this you could also say, Orgeron could better this record with his own program. Going off of what he did 10 plus years ago is even more ignorant then taking his lastest wins/losses and giving him full credit. Taking what someone did later in life is much more relevant then what he did earlier in life, especially if he has a record to prove it.
Basically LSU fans need to give the man his chance and stop talking shite about him because y'all sound even more dumb then the people saying his interim record is a good basis for future success.

You think taking over an LSU team that was 4-5 in its last 9 games and going 6-2 with a bowl win is bad?
