So people hate Finebaum for always being pro Bama, you hate Spears because he isn’t pro LSU? Maybe he is just realistic? Maybe he like many others don’t see a positive outlook for obvious reasons.

At the end of the day he is an analyst and it doesn't matter what he says. In fact, no one has any idea of what LSU will be like this year. Do Bama, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State get the benefit of the doubt? Absolutely, but they have earned it. LSU has lost that benefit of the doubt and is no longer considered a championship program, we are middle of the pack at best.
The only way to change the narrative is for LSU to win and prove the pundits wrong. Very few have faith that Coach O is the man for the job and the only way to change that is for him to win at LSU.
