he may have a say but the power of the cotton bowl ain't in his hands. there is contract and jones needs the revenue. i'm sure they would listen to him but the venue owner does not determine who plays there; the bowl pays rent no matter who goes.

Sources saying Texas A&M to Capital One Bowl regardless of SECCG outcome.

So that leaves Cotton or Chick Fil A depending on who wins.

I don't see that possible...South Carolina isn't going to play Clemson again in the Peach Bowl.

I think LSU goes to Cotton if Bama wins, and goes to Peach Bowl if Georgia wins...

South Carolina probably goes to Outback regardless of SECCG outcome.

Georgia goes to Peach if it loses.

Just my thoughts.

Carolina would likely go to the Gator Bowl to avoid a rematch.

Peach is going to be one of the best matchups of the bowl season

Clemson vs. LSU or Georgia.

I thought they do. There are stipulations but I believe they have first choice.

The stipulation is the Cap One has first pick. Then the Outback has first pick of an Eastern team, while the Cotton Bowl would have the first pick of teams from the west. So the Cotton is either 2nd or 3rd.

BS CG BAMA
Sugar UF
CAP UGA
Cotton LUS or TAMU
Outback SCe
Fil A LUS or TAMU

Last year: UGA= Outback SCe=Cap 1.. Not sure if this will play a role.

If UGA wins

BS CG UGA
Sugar UF
Cap Bama
Cotton LUS or TAMU
Outback SCe
Fil A LUS or TAMU

UGA nor So Car will go to the poultry bowl to play Clemson. Why, you ask?

So Car just played them in their last game. UGA plays them to start off next season, then So Car palys them the week after.

A&M is locked into the Cap 1, that leaves Outback & Cotton honed in on UGA/Bama, So Car

LSU/Clemson; Chick bound

Sad, but true

If the Cotton Bowl wants a team like LSU, they don't care who the Chick-fil-a would have to take. That would be their problem.

I'm pretty sure both Spurrier & Richt care very much. Those two making phones calls to Slive will affect where SEC teams go

I would be very surprised to see either UGA or USCe in the Cotton Bowl. The CB traditionally takes SEC West teams and the Outback usually takes SEC East teams.

Auburn went to Outback in 2010, so UGa going Cotton in 2012 is possible

The Les and Alleva need to get their arse on the phone too. Of course the SEC office usually craps on anything we say.
