9-3 and another FL or TX bowl. I just do not think CBK can coach himself and the team to a NC. Another 9 and 10 win coach. He is gone by year 7.

Best Case 11-1
The opener against Clemson I have zero faith that we win.
Away at Bama I do not have much faith we win either.
Best case we spilt those games.
Defense will be much better with the skill of Baker and the staff LSU has on that side of the ball.
Worst Case 9-3
Losses to Clemson, Florida and Bama will 100% happen if we still can't run the football. I have confidence that we will be better but that depends on if our OL Portal Adds are hits.

That is an extremely optimistic prediction and would probably have LSU ranked #1 in the country.
I think we improve on offense with 5 very good WR (AA, Collins, TreyDez, Hilton, Barion) and good RBs (Durham and 5 star freshman).
My biggest question is defense. How good did we do in the portal? Because there is no way in hell this team goes 11-1 with same defense as last year. It needs drastic improvement. The stats of the guys we picked up are good. I have promising hope. We will see week 1. At Clemson with experienced Klubnik will be very difficult. I feel it is a loss along with a loss at Bama, but who knows.
I can't remember the last time we played one of these big OOC season openers week 1 or 2 at home. It's always Nola, Vegas, Austin, UCLA, Dallas, Houston, but never BR. I guess we played UCLA at home, but that was a few weeks in. We better not schedule any tough road games OOC after Clemson.

9 wins with 10 possible. We are one injury from that number to like 6 at best. For us to reach any win total goal we MUST run the ball better and have some imagination on offense.

The Big $$$$$ people are out of patience.
LSU either makes the CFP THIS season or BK will not be back in 2026.
